The Golden Gallery
This project was facilitated through my residency at St Paul’s Cathedral school, where I was given special access to areas of the Cathedral at the time. My fascination with cityscapes at night led me to undertake this huge project. When the cathedral was closed to the public at night, I was allowed to get access to the gallery above the dome from where I took multiple photographs to piece together the 360 degree view.

Oil on canvas, 8 panels, each measuring 122 x 196 cm, 2003
The installation can either sit along one long wall or can be set up in an octagon so the viewer is completely surrounded.
